On Thursday, Ultimate Fighting Championship will offer its latest mixed martial arts event headlined by Diego Sanchez vs Martin Kampmann. The UFC Live: Sanchez vs Kampmann MMA event will be broadcast from Lousiville, Kentucky.

The main card is set to show on Versus starting at 9PM EST on Thursday. Diego Sanchez will battle Martin Kampmann inside the Octagon. Other matches will include C.B. Dollaway against Mark Munoz, Alessio Sakara against Chris Weidman and Brian Bowles against Damacio Page.

This fight comes soon after the most recent Pay-Per-View, UFC 127, which saw an intense battle between BJ Penn and Jon Fitch end in a draw. It also saw Michael Bisping defeat Jorge Rivera after the two engaged in a bit of a shouting match during weigh-ins.

Brandon "The Truth" Vera currently resides in San Diego, California, but he was born in Norfolk, Virginia. Vera also attended Old Dominion University after getting a four-year athletic scholarship. However, he chose to drop out after a year and a half of college, enlisting in the Air Force instead. While with the US Air Force, Vera began to hone his wrestling skills. A serious injury in 1999 saw Vera tear ligaments in his right arm, resulting in arthoscopic surgery and eventually nerve damage.
