Queensland will be out to kick-start their Twenty20 Big Bash campaign when they take on in-form Tasmania at the Gabba on Friday night. The classy Tim Paine is capable and likely to back up his first effort 71, while big-hitting team-mates Mark Cosgrove and Luke Birt will take on the Bulls pace brigade. Pakistani import Rana Naved-ul-Hasan is another of the Tigers with the talent to make a big impact, and having taken 3-19 in his return to the Australian domestic circuit he appears to have the form to do so.

Queensland's all-round equivalent and captain James Hopes, who topscored with 36 against the Warriors, will need to lead from the front for the inexperienced Bulls to rate a chance.
